Why did you decide to become a Dentist? Ever since I was a child, my eyes would go to people’s teeth. Growing up in a small village in India, I saw many undernourished people who suffered because they could not afford dental work.

Why did you decide to become a Dentist? My father was a doctor and I wanted to follow his footsteps. After joining dental school, I realized that I can help people with my amazing skills.

Why did you decide to become a Dentist? Growing up with parents who are both involved in the dental field, I was practically raised in a dental office. I grew up surrounded by their passion for dentistry and for helping our patients.

Community Involvement: I volunteered in various programs but the two I am most proud of are: being a clinical provider for the Give Kids a Smile program and a teacher and translator for students and international volunteers at the Manav Sadhna Foundation.

Community Involvement: I volunteered at various programs such as American Red Cross of Greater New York, New York Cares and Mobile Dental Camps in India. My most heartfelt volunteering experience was helping with relief with the American Red Cross during Hurricane Sandy.
