Fellow, Academy of General Dentistry, 2020 - I earned this by completing over 500 hours of continuing dental education, passing a rigorous and comprehensive exam, and maintaining my AGD membership for over three continuous years.
Why did you decide to become a Dentist? Having terribly misaligned teeth as a kid and going to through treatment with braces, I got along with my orthodontist quite well. Upon graduating high school, he was instrumental in helping me apply to dental programs and pushed me in the direction of following his footsteps and have a fulfilling career in dentistry.
What inspires you to work at Preferred Dental Care? I love that everyone in the office is as vested in the patient’s care as the patients themselves. We all work to deliver the best lifetime dentistry to everyone all while having fun with the team and the patients alike.
Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy spending quality time traveling the world with my wife and our daughter Aarya. We love seeing our friends and family when we have the chance. Although nothing beats time spent at home watching movies and just being together. We love exploring the city with Aarya and showing teaching her new things.
I love volunteering my time in the service of others. I have been an active volunteer with the American Red Cross in Greater New York as well as the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in the past. I have also helped dental residents as a faculty in hospital-based residency programs in New York and Pennsylvania.
What is a fun fact about yourself? I am married to my dentist! Also, I am very good at skating, on the road and on ice!
Favorite thing to do in Chelsea: I love going to Broadway so much we had to dedicate a wall for signed playbills in our home.
