Dr. Sylvia Rutkowski

Why did you decide to become a dentist? I became interested in dentistry when I got my braces put on. I always enjoyed my appointments with my Orthodontist and found the process and results intriguing. Dentistry also combines my interests of medicine and art! I love being able to work hands-on with my patients and make a difference in their lives through their smile.

What are your hobbies or interests? I love to travel and explore new places. I always like to have a trip planned and look forward to experiencing new cultures and seeing all the beautiful scenery a place has to offer. I also like to cook/bake! I like to find new recipes and try different types of foods.

Fun fact about yourself: I speak English and Polish!

Favorite thing to do in Queens: My favorite thing to do in Queens is to walk along the water near Gantry park with the view of the skyline. I also like to try new restaurants in the area.

What inspires you to work at PDC? I am inspired to work at PDC because I have been able to first hand witness the great culture and team environment. PDC strives to provide great dental care and to help people and everyone is a pleasure to be around. I look forward to coming to work and helping my patients improve their dental health.
