What You Can Expect from Us at Preferred Dental Care:
1. Charity Work
Charity work is a major aspect of Preferred Dental Care’s mission. For many years we have been donating over half of our income to charity.
2. Convenience and Accessibility
We offer extended hours, weekend appointments, and same-day emergency visits so you never have to wait long for the care you need.
3. Exceptional Patient Experience and Service
- From our friendly front desk to our comforting chairside manner, our mission is to create a welcoming environment for all patients and guests.
- We operate with one schedule per dentist and hygienist, which means when we reserve your appointment, the dentist or hygienist is focused on you! This means the dentist/hygienist will be able to have more direct attention and interaction with you, instead of being in multiple places at once.
- Even after your treatment is done, we want to continue caring for you. After any major dental procedure our staff will check up on you to make sure you are doing well and to answer any questions you have.
4. High-Quality Care
- We refuse to cut corners on time, materials, or staff quality, so you get the best possible care.
- We use local and high quality dental laboratories. We pick our dental laboratories not on how cheap they are, but how high quality their work is. We have long standing relationships with our dental laboratories, many of them for over thirty years, which means that they prioritize the work we send them, and will make sure our work is returned to the office rapidly.
- We get our dental supplies from reputable companies, many of which have been in business in the United States for close to or even more than 100 years. This is important because this is what will be in your mouth! We are always researching improvements in dental supplies and instruments and we upgrade our supplies and instruments as technology improves.
5. Longevity of the Dental Work
Our goal is to have your dental work as long as possible. While dental work can’t last forever (we eat over 1,000 meals a year, so your teeth and dental work are under a lot of stress!), we aim to use techniques and materials that keep your dental work healthy for a long time. Of course, a big part of that is making sure you keep it clean and come for your recommended cleanings and checkups.
6. Advanced Technology and Skilled Specialists
- We have 3D imaging, digital X-rays, and on-site specialists who use leading-edge techniques that are not available everywhere.
- We have a strict sterilization protocol for our dental instruments. This includes weekly testing of all of our sterilization machines. We use special tools and tests, which are sent to a third-party company to verify that all our machines are working as possible. This is not a requirement, but we do this to make sure our patients are safe.
- We have specialists in many of our offices, which means if you need to see a dental specialist, you might be able to see them without even leaving the office. If we do need to refer you to another of our offices, you will not have to worry about a referral notes, or bringing your x-rays, because all of our offices and dentists will communicate with each other. In addition, you do not need to worry about scheduling the appointments because we will schedule it right away.
7. Customized Treatment Plans
- We tailor every treatment to your individual needs rather than being restricted by network-imposed limitations. A comprehensive and thorough dental examination is key to your overall health and the health of your mouth.
- While we do work with many dental insurances, we are not contracted to them. This means we don’t work for the insurance companies, and our recommendations to you for your dental health are not biased by what the insurance company wants to pay for.
- At Preferred Dental Care, we treat you like a patient, not as an insurance ID number. Regardless of if you have insurance or not, you will get the full Preferred Dental Care experience.
- Sometimes the cost of dental treatment can be more than expected. Our highly trained team will be able to work with you to make sure you get the dental treatment you need to be healthy. We have many options with in-office payment plans, third party payment plans and more to help you get the dental treatment you need. Saving your teeth only gets more expensive as time goes on, so the right time to do it is as soon as possible.
8. Experienced Insurance Team
Even though we are not under contract with insurance companies, we still submit and follow up on claims on our patient’s behalf, because we want to help you maximize your insurance as much as legally possible. We have a separate insurance department with multiple high skilled and trained team members whose only job is to make sure you are properly reimbursed by the insurance company. This means if the insurance company denies or delays paying a claim, we will follow up with them intensely.
9. Trust and Transparency
- Our team truly loves to speak with and educate our patients, and we make sure we have enough time to do that. During treatment, the dentist, hygienist and assistant will keep you informed of everything which is happening and will give you step by step details to make sure you are not confused about anything. We love when patients ask us questions and want to know more about their dental health!
- We will always explain fees before treatment begins and help you understand any out-of-pocket costs.
10. On-Site Laboratory
At many of our offices, we have an on-site laboratory for dentures, night guards and retainers. This means we can make same day dentures, night guards and retainers, and also if something happens with your dental work, we may be able to fix it right away. If you need to get a tooth taken out, you can leave the same day with a denture to fill the empty space.
