Why did you decide to become a Hygienist? Hygiene was not my first choice but I always had a strong urge to help others and wanted to choose a career that will allow me to fulfill this. I was encouraged by my eldest sister who is also a hygienist and I was able to discover that this profession is my purpose. It is what I was meant to do and I am able to help my patients every day.

What inspires you to work at Preferred Dental Care? One day I overheard my husband's conversation on the phone and he made reference to a quote that highlights the thought of, if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life. Then I realized to myself, this is me. When I walk through that door in the morning that is how I feel. I love what I do, I do it with a passion and it is a blessing to be able to work alongside team mates that make you feel like you are a family.

Hobbies and Interests: Reading, watching movies, spending time outdoors and gardening. 

What is a fun fact about yourself? I enjoy a good joke.

Favorite thing to do in Queens: Grocery shopping.
